Walks from the Door

We absolutely loved our stay! The walks straight from the doorstep offered stunning views, and the picturesque village of Eyam was just a short stroll away, with plenty to explore. The cottage was well-equipped for cooking, and the views across the fields made it even more special.

Peaceful Paradise

“A slice of peaceful paradise in the Peak District. Great shower, kitchen, all mod cons and even a Bakewell tart on arrival – a nice touch, especially as I had no idea that Bakewell Tarts are local to the area. The barn is a few minutes walk from the car park and you really feel secluded surrounded by nature. One day we had deer in view. It was perfect for us. Emma was very friendly and responsive with any questions we had. I can’t wait to return to relax with the perfect view.”

The perfect relaxing break

“We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay in Clementine Cottage, which was spotlessly clean and beautifully peaceful, the perfect relaxing break we needed. The location was ideal, with an easy walk into the village and a longer but rewarding walk to The Barrel, a fantastic nearby pub. It was also really convenient to catch the bus to Bakewell or Sheffield for a day of exploring. Emma was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout. We can’t wait to return”

Breathtaking

“The Barn exceeded our expectations in every way. Set in a truly stunning location with breathtaking views, it felt wonderfully secluded and private, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the surroundings. The cottage was well-equipped, with a great shower and a well-appointed kitchen. Eyam was a delight, and we highly recommend the pub for an evening meal, as well as The Barrel Inn for lunch (booking ahead is a good idea!). Fantastic walking country, a welcoming host, and a perfect stay, top marks all round”
